The 2011 Volunteer Fair was a celebration of the work of local charities and voluntary organisations in East Surrey.

It took place on Saturday the 5th March with over 50 voluntary organisations and charities attending with stalls and many hundreds of people attending during the day.

Sam Gyimah is seen here with one creative artist from St. Matthews C of E Primary School.

Pupils from St. Matthew's Primary School in Redhill provided a number of pictures around the theme of Helping Hands.

The event was formally opened by East Surrey MP Sam Gyimah who spoke of the importance of the voluntary sector especially in these challenging economic times.
